These Instant Pot Super Bowl recipes will be the real MVP on game day. From chilis and sandwiches to easy appetizers, we've got you covered.

Hosting a Super Bowl party used to stress me out. Between the game itself and the halftime show, it’s a long event, and I always worried either I would not have enough food or I would have the wrong mix of snacks, mains and appetizers. Plus, there was oven and stovetop space to negotiate. Adding Instant Pot Super Bowl recipes to the mix was the game-changer (pun intended) I needed.

This collection offers game-day worthy Instant Pot recipes, such as chili, chowder and pasta dishes, as well as lighter bites, like pulled chicken or snack-sized meatballs. You can curate just the right assortment for your gathering. I like to make a few hearty dishes that can replace dinner, and then I fill out the spread with chips, pretzels, dips and a beautiful crudite platter. Just because you are watching football doesn’t mean you can’t be elegant! Add a few Super Bowl desserts and it’s game over.

Instant Pot Super Bowl Recipes FAQ

Can you make appetizers in an Instant Pot for the Super Bowl?

If you primarily use your Instant Pot for big batches of soups and stews, it’s time to think smaller. You can make delicious appetizers—from shredded chicken and beef for sliders to warm dips, salsas and mini meatballs—in an Instant Pot. Don’t forget that you can use an Instant Pot to saute or slow-cook, making it easy to adapt your favorite stovetop or slow-cooker Super Bowl recipes.

How do you keep Instant Pot food warm during a Super Bowl party?

The best way to keep Instant Pot food warm is by using the “Warm” setting, a button you may have overlooked (here is what all the buttons on an Instant Pot mean). When cooking under pressure, an Instant Pot will automatically switch to Warm once the time is up, allowing the pressure to release naturally. But you can also manually select it to keep cooked foods hot. For dips or warm bites, like meatball appetizers, set the Instant Pot to Warm and stir occasionally. You can leave the lid off or just set it on top.

Are there healthy Instant Pot Super Bowl recipes?

There are many great healthy Instant Pot recipes, from shredded lean meats and chili recipes to bean and grain sides, you can make for the Super Bowl. Healthy means different things to different people, but an Instant Pot just as easily can tackle a meatless stew as a large pork roast. An Instant Pot uses pressure and steam to tenderize, and it intensifies and concentrates the flavor of ingredients. You may find that you need less sauce, sugar or salt to balance the recipe seasonings.
