Asian green beans are a tasty addition to any meal, with the flavors of sesame oil, honey and soy sauce working together to create an easy vegetable side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 2 cups frozen cut green beans (about 8 ounces), thawed
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar or honey
- Sesame seeds, optional
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add green beans; cook and stir until heated through. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in soy sauce and sugar until sugar is dissolved. If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
