This easy butterscotch coffee recipe is perfect for a chilly fall morning, a sweet afternoon pick-me-up or a cozy holiday drink. With rich butterscotch chips and a fluffy whipped cream crown, it tastes like a coffeehouse treat.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
- 8 cups hot brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup half-and-half cream
- 5 to 8 tablespoons sugar
- Whipped cream in a can
- Butterscotch ice cream topping, optional
Directions
- In a large pitcher, stir coffee and butterscotch chips until chips are melted. Stir in cream and sugar. Pour into mugs. Top each serving with whipped cream and a butterscotch ice cream topping, it desired.
