Christmas Tree Brownies

Christmas tree brownies use a brownie mix and canned frosting for a fast, kid-friendly treat. Cut, tint, top with sprinkles, and add candy cane or pretzel pieces.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16.3 ounces) brownie mix
  • 1 can (16 ounces) vanilla frosting
  • 3 to 4 drops green food coloring
  • Red, white and green sprinkles
  • Mini candy canes and/or stick pretzels

Directions

  1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Transfer to a wire rack to completely cool. Use a cookie cutter or knife to cut brownies into 16 triangles.
  2. Transfer frosting to a large bowl; tint with green food coloring. Pipe or spread frosting on cooled brownie triangles. Top with sprinkles. Press pieces of mini candy cane or stick pretzels into the bottom to create a tree trunk.
