Ingredients: 2 cups molasses; 1 cup butter, melted; 1 cup sour cream; 1 tablespoon lemon juice; 8 cups all-purpose flour; 1 cup packed brown sugar; 3 teaspoons each ground cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves; 2-1/4 teaspoons baking soda; 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest; 3/4 teaspoon salt; 3 cups chopped walnuts; 1-2/3 cups raisins; 1/4 cup chopped candied lemon peel; 1/4 cup chopped candied orange peel; FROSTING:; 4-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar; 1 cup heavy whipping cream; 2 tablespoons lemon juice; GARNISH:; 4 cups red and/or green candied cherries, cut as desired
