Fancy Roasted Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups mixed nuts

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the first six ingredients. Add nuts; toss to coat. Spread onto a 15x10x1-in. baking pan.
  2. Bake at 300° for 35-40 minutes or until nuts are lightly toasted and appear dry, stirring occasionally. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container.
