This glaze is our favorite way to perk up a ham. Leftovers make zippy sandwiches—with more horseradish, of course! —Cathy & Monte Seus, Tulelake, California
Ingredients
- 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (5 to 6 pounds)
- Whole cloves
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup prepared horseradish
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Directions
- Using a sharp knife, score surface of ham with 1/4-in.-deep cuts in a diamond pattern; insert a clove in each diamond. Bake according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, mix remaining ingredients. Brush over ham during the last 30 minutes of baking.
