Hot Apricot Chai Cocktail

This lovely wintertime cocktail is a hit with my friends for its rich flavor and easy prep. I like to garnish it with a slice of orange. —Aysha Schurman, Ammon, Idaho

Ingredients

  • 5 cups apple cider or juice
  • 2 cups apricot nectar
  • 1 cup spiced rum
  • 4 Chai tea bags
  • Orange slices, optional

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine apple cider, apricot nectar and rum, bring to a boil. Add tea bags; remove from the heat. Cover and let steep 10 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags, stir to combine. Serve warm in mugs with orange slices, if desired.
