Dress up your next bake with silky smooth Russian buttercream frosting.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
Directions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat softened butter on high speed until pale in color, 2-3 minutes.
- Reduce mixer to medium speed; beat in confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Increase mixer speed to high; beat until creamy, 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually add sweetened condensed milk, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed. Beat until whipped and creamy, 1-2 minutes.
