A garlicky chicken topping meets tangy sweet-and-sour sauce and cream cheese in this surprisingly addictive sesame chicken dip.

This sesame chicken dip is a real sleeper hit. At first glance, it looks like a potluck recipe standby: a thick layer of cream cheese spread onto a platter, piled with sweet-and-savory toppings. But the flavors snap into place the moment you take a bite. The chicken is steeped in sesame oil and garlic, the spinach adds a clean green crunch, and the peanuts on top bring the salty jolt that makes you keep going back for more.

What really sets it apart, though, is the texture. The cream cheese stays cool and plush beneath the tangle of juicy chicken and chopped vegetables. Each bite is balanced—rich, fresh and just a little nutty—and scooping it up with sesame rice crackers amplifies the savory flavor.
