Slow-Cooker Cranberry Sauce

Free up your stovetop when cooking for the holidays with this flavorful slow-cooker cranberry sauce recipe. This simple but classic recipe can be made with fresh or frozen cranberries.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange zest

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a slow cooker; stir to combine. Cover; cook on high 3 hours, stirring once per hour.
  2. Remove the lid; stir. Continue cooking, uncovered, until thickened, about 30 minutes.
  3. Serve warm or chilled. If serving chilled, let slightly cool; transfer to an airtight container. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
