Acer liquidmini passes FCC certification, ready for AT&T's network
This year's CES was about bigger and faster smartphones and with all the noise surrounding them, many new phones seemed to go a bit under the radar. The Acer liquidmini, also appearing under the Acer Liquid Mini E310 moniker, a smaller version of the Android-running Acer Liquid Metal, was one of those phones. Initially announced for Europe, the Acer liquidmini recently passed FCC certification with frequencies matching AT&T's 3G network, so it could well be heading to the nation's second largest carrier.
It really is “mini” in today's smartphone world with a screen size of 3.2 inches at HVGA resolution. The phone runs on Froyo and has a 600 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM and a 5 megapixel camera.
