Alleged Galaxy S5 screenshot seemingly confirms a 5.2" QHD display with 560ppi density

A new screenshot, tipped to be straight from the Samsung Galaxy S5, seemingly confirms the rumored QHD (1440x2560 pixels) screen resolution. It also reiterates the speculated larger, 5.2" screen diagonal, resulting in a record 560ppi pixel density.

So far we've seen both 1080p Full HD, and 1440p QHD displays cited in benchmarks that allegedly originated from different versions of the S5. With the handset about to be announced just a week from now, we hope that everyone's prayers will be heard, and the phone will indeed launch with a QHD Super AMOLED display.

The rest of the rumored specs for the S5 are pretty stellar, too - a new 64-bit Exynos processor for the international version of the phone, or a Snapdragon 800 for the US ones, 16 MP camera, and a large 3000+ mAh battery. We can't wait for next Monday, as we'll be reporting live all the announcement festivities straight from Barcelona and the MWC expo.
