Back in all of its glory: here are all the official Apple Watch Series 2 images

So, Apple actually refreshed its smartwatch, 18 months after the launch of the first generation. While there are some improvements on the inside, water-proofing and GPS being among the biggest ones, the gizmo certainly doesn't look very different on the outside.

This may disappoint those who have been hoping to see a circular Apple Watch, but it seems the company is confident in its design — enough to keep it for at least one more generation, at least. Tim Cook did proudly announce that it's the most-sold smartwatch out there, the 2nd most popular timepiece, even when compared to traditional watches, and a praised gadget at customer satisfaction surveys performed by JD Power.

Well, at least it has some new finishes, and a selection of fine straps to go along with it. Of course, if anyone knows how to make a gadget look desirable in its promo shots, it's Apple, and the pictures of the Apple Watch Series 2 do not disappoint.
