Entry-level Nokia Lumia 505 now official, features Windows Phone 7.8 right out of the box
Earlier this week, we told you that leaks showed that an entry-level phone called the Nokia Lumia 505 was on the way. Now, the phone is official. The Nokia Lumia 505 will be an exclusive for Mexico's Telcel network and while no launch date or price have been released, we do know that the phone will have a 3.7 inch AMOLED screen with an 8MP rear-facing camera. No front-facing camera will be available. 4GB of storage comes with the phone which has a 1300mAh battery.

The Nokia Lumia 505 will be available in pink, black or red. This is obviously not a high-end device or even a mid-range model. But for those needing a phone to make and take calls, to take pictures (remember, there is an 8MP camera on back), and to play a few games, the Nokia Lumia 505 can handle the job. The phone comes out of the box with Windows Phone 7.8 which means it has resizable Live Tiles, the Bing daily Lock Screen image and more.
