FCC visit confirms wireless charging capability for the LG Nexus 4
The LG Nexus 4 has gone from rumor to rumored launch date in under 60 seconds. Hmmm. Does that make it a muscle phone? One thing that we do know for sure is that thanks to those meddling kids at the FCC, the next 'Google Experience' stock Android Nexus phone will have wireless charging. That confirms a report from a French media outlet that we told you about the other day, passing along the news that the phone would offer such a feature.

The FCC documentation also shows that the LG Nexus 4 will use a special back cover to allow the phone to charge sans wires. The same cover also will also include support for NFC. With wireless charging available for the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820, this could become the next 'must-have' smartphone feature. Was it really all those years ago when we got excited about the Palm Pre and its Touchstone charger?

Additionally, Android and Me photoshopped a mockup of what it expects the final design of the LG Nexus 4 will be. The design is based on what was gleaned from a reliable source. You can check it out along with the aforementioned FCC documentation, below.
