Facebook bug now fixed for AT&T customers
Just a few days we reported a security issue regarding the Facebook site with AT&T, where users were able to log-in under other Facebook accounts. Now according to Cnet and AT&T's spokesman Michael Coe, the problem appears to be fixed. There was a number of instances when the server software had a connectivity error and resulted in some AT&T customers being logged in to the wrong Facebook account when theyaccessed Facebook through their mobile phones. Because of this, there are now new security measures in place to prevent the problem from happening again, as AT&T worked with Facebook to disable subscriber identification information as an option for automatic log-on. Furthermore, AT&T has also fixed a separate bug with Facebook, that may send the wrong cookie to your mobile web browser. We sincerely hope these are the last two issues with Facebook so they can now concentrate on making their mobile content better.
