First alleged picture of the OnePlus One shows the rear of the affordable superphone
We've been hot on the heels of the upcoming OnePlus One for a while now, and yet, despite the interest the China-based company has stirred both in the East and West, the actual looks of the affordable flagship remain elusive. This may have just changed, however, though what we have here is shaky at best, and the picture you're looking at is reportedly based on an early prototype (the "Never Settle" motto included). Even if that is indeed the case, there's no telling whether this is the final look.
So what do we have here? Well, apart from the very aggressive embedded motto, we can also barely make out a metallic encasing for the 13-megapixel Sony sensor and the dual LED flash module immediately below. Beyond that, it's hard to tell whether we're looking at plastic, though alleged design sketches from a while ago do mention an aluminum unibody. In any case, it won't be long now until we see the real deal -- the OnePlus One's unveiling event is set to take place in Beijing on April 23.
But that's not all, as we've also have a duo of shots of the motherboard that will be powering the One. The reason we know that this is, indeed, the One's motherboard, is simple: OnePlus has seen it fit to embed its logo on the very logic board.
