First camera samples from the Nokia Lumia 720

We managed to snap two quick shots with Nokia's newest mid-range Windows Phone 8 warrior, the Lumia 720.

The camera on the device is one of its big selling points, as it features a 6.7 MP module on the back with extremely large for a smartphone aperture of f/1.9 that allows more light in, resulting in better low-light performance.

Granted, what we used to shoot those pictures below is a preproduction model and there will be more tweaking before it has shelves, and the lighting conditions at these expos are not favorable to testing cameras, but we are sharing the results anyway with these caveats, so you can have a rough idea about the camera's performance.
