GSMA confirms LG will not be at MWC 2010
Last week we reported that LG would probably not show up at Mobile World Congress 2010. The information has now been confirmed by the GSM Association that happens to be the event organizer. What is considered the major reason for the decision, at least according to the afore-mentioned statement, is LG´s new policy that appears to be quite similar to what Nokia has decided on. The manufacturer won´t be exhibiting anything at a stall, but intends to take part in various meetings and conference events actively. We do hope that other manufacturers will not follow suit, since MWC has always been the event where people can see and get their hands on the most interesting new devices throughout the year.
