Google Docs app for Android is updated with better viewing support for Honeycomb
Productivity hounds using some sort of Honeycomb tablet will be ecstatic to know that the Google Docs app for Android was recently updated, bringing along a new redesign to the app’s layout so that it’s better situated for tablet usage.

Reflecting what we see with most of the core apps found with Honeycomb, Google Docs now sports a three-panel layout that provides users plenty of visibility in what they’re doing. However, it still relies on using the usual Google Docs Mobile page to create and edit files. In the three-panel layout, users are presented with the ability to browse batches of documents, the full listing of files, and a preview pane of the selected file that shows who has access to it.

Obviously, there are other goodies thrown in for good measure that enhances the experience – like support for portrait & landscape mode for Honeycomb and better video playback functionality as well. Therefore, if you’ve been dying for some better organization with the app for Honeycomb, you’d better quickly download and install it then.
