Google adds new badges to Image Search on Android to help you find the right info

Yay, Google is making the search app on Android devices even better, the company announced today. If you're an avid searcher for pictures of food, fantastic destination places or just beautiful people, the latest Google Image Search update is going to help you find the right images.

The bottom line is you'll now have relevant badges at your disposal, which will point out what else you can find with just a single tap. All the new badges added today will allow Android users to find images where next steps and more in-depth information is available.

Now, how will that work? You'll notice that in the bottom left-hand corner of an image there's a badge that basically filters the image shown, as well as the text to help clarify the next move you can make.

Let's say you're looking for cupcakes pictures in Image Search, you'll immediately notice badges for both video and recipe results. For even more searches, you will also see badges for products and GIFs too.
