Google says "sorry" by giving $5 to all Wallet users
The past few weeks may have been somewhat frustrating for Google Wallet users, given that security holes within the service were exposed by hackers. Soon after the vulnerability was discovered, adding funds via Google Wallet prepaid cards was temporarily disabled due to security concerns. Thankfully, the recent software updates have taken care of the issue, so Google Wallet should be working just fine once more. And as a way of saying "we're sorry", Google is adding $5 credit to the accounts of its Wallet subscribers.
