Google issued updates for two of its more recent apps, the Chrome browser, and the Google Drive command center. While Chrome's update for Android mostly includes under-the-hood stuff like "stability fixes and performance improvements," the iOS version rings in PDF support, works with Passbook now, and can render additional text encodings.
The larger update went for Google Drive, which was just integrated with Gmail to allow you sending up to 10 GB attachments. The app now allows you spreadsheet creation and editing on both platforms, giving the other office apps a run for their money.
Other than that, the new Drive for Android rings in "editing contents of tables in Google Docs editor, formatting is maintained when copy/pasting within Google Docs, single tap to enter edit mode in Google Docs editor, add a shortcut to Drive files/folders to your homescreen for quick access and Send Link now supports copying link to clipboard," whereas for iOS we get "upload to Drive from other apps using “Open in…”, manage upload progress and see recent uploads in new Uploads section, rich text copy-paste within a document, improved speed and stability, improved contact search for sharing" and the all-important bug fixes.
