With HP making the splash once again into the mobile world with the Windows Mobile powered HP iPAQ Glisten, two new names have been registered for trademark by the PC making giant. Apparently the trademarks “Zeen” and Airlife” have been registered way back in the fall and relate explicitly to computing and mobile handsets. The Zeen moniker is described as a “portable handheld device for receiving and displaying text and images and sound; computer software for use in transmitting and displaying text, images and sound; computer peripherals; computer hardware.” On the other hand, HP’s Airlife is related to “handheld computers; personal digital assistants; mobile telephones; computers; computer hardware; computer software; computer peripherals.” There’s no indication whether these two names, if any will ever be used, will ultimately form to become some sort of product line. It can go as far as being speculated as code names for some sort of software or service. Either way, delving back into the mobile industry is a great start for them – hopefully these two monikers will eventually find a small place in the mobile world.
