And just like that, two of Verizon’s pre-Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones are getting the upgrade treatment it deserves. Although an unofficial ROM update was released a few days ago, now HTC Ozone owners can download the official upgrade from PCD’s web site – it’s found to be the same build number found on the leaked ROM. Soon afterwards, Verizon also announced that one of their most popular Windows phones is also getting a new facelift to WM 6.5 – the always out of stock HTC Touch Pro2; bringing it up to the likes of the HTC Imagio. There are some nice enhancements that are found with the official update – OS upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5, updated drivers to support Global edition of VZ Navigator, and some TouchFLO 3D Enhancements. Now that the HTC line on Verizon is completely up-to-date, there’s no reason why anyone should look over these handsets.
