Kyocera showcases four new CDMA handsets
Kyocera showcased four new CDMA mobile phones at CTIA. The four new devices are CDMA2000 1X capable and are expected to be available in the third quarter of 2005.
Slider Remix KX5 – a slide-designed phone, which features:
- 262K color TFT display
- 1.3 megapixel camera, with flash and digital zoom
- BREW
- 16MB internal memory
- TransFlash memory expansion slot
- MP3/AAC player

KX9 – a clamshell-designed entry level phone, which have the following main features:
- 65k color LCD display
- WAP Internet browser
- BREW
- SMS/EMS support
- built-in Speakerphone

Topaz KX7 – a single-band CDMA (800 MHz) low-cost phone with clamshell design. It features:
- color display
- BREW
- polyphonic ringtones
