You really don’t need to have a fancy press release or event to officially launch a handset – billboard advertisements could do almost the same thing. In the case of the speculated LG Lotus Elite LX610 for Sprint, it looks to get some face time from wandering pedestrians thanks to a large billboard that’s covering the side of a Las Vegas hotel. There are no secrets in Sin City of course – and maybe that’s why the LG Lotus Elite is center stage for the world to see. Not to take precedence, other LG handsets like the Chocolate Touch and eXpo are all strutting their stuff. Surprisingly though, three of the four major wireless carriers are represented by LG with only T-Mobile left out of the party. It’s all but officially confirmed from the manufacturer itself and leaves us with little doubt about its existence.
