LG (Optimus) F60 launched in the US via MetroPCS, offers LTE and Android KitKat on the cheap
Officially announced in early October, the LG F60 is now available to buy in the US - though only MetroPCS is selling it (at least for the moment). While LG announced the handset as simply F60, MetroPCS is calling it Optimus F60.

The (Optimus) F60 is one of the cheapest LTE smartphones in the US. Thus, as you’d imagine, it’s far from being a high-end device.

The handset is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, and sports a 4.5-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels and a 207 ppi density. Other features include a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3 MP front-facing camera, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2020 mAh battery (this is slightly smaller than the 2100 mAh battery that’s found inside the phone’s international version). The new smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and - as you’ll see in the video embedded below - it also comes with Knock Code, LG’s own screen unlocking feature.

MetroPCS is selling the Optimus F60 for only $99.99 - after a $10 instant rebate, and a $50 mail-in rebate (no contract required). You can buy the handset online by visiting the source link below. Any takers?
