LG X mach and X max showcased in official promo videos
Officially unveiled in June, the LG X mach and LG X max smartphones should both hit the market in the near future. Until that happens, LG released two promo videos - embedded below - that allow us to take a better look at the new handsets.

The first promo video highlights the fact that the LG X mach features support for LTE Cat. 9 3CA - this means that, theoretically, it can provide data transfer speeds of over 400 Mbps. The X mach also comes with a six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, and a fingerprint scanner located on the rear.

The second video showcases the LG X max. Obviously, this is a pretty big phone, though it's not larger than the X mach, as it, too, features a 5.5-inch screen. However, unlike the X mach, the LG X max offers more modest features. For example, its screen is just a 720p one, its processor is a quad-core 1.3 GHz one, and there's only 2 GB of RAM on board. All in all, it looks like the X max is similar to the LG X5 that was launched earlier this month in South Korea, LG's home country.

LG has yet to reveal complete specs sheets for the X mach and X max, though we know that both handsets will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

One of LG's X series handsets - the X power - is already available in North America, but only in Canada for now. We'll let you know when we hear anything about the release of the other X series smartphones.
