Leak reveals Samsung's first Android slider for Verizon

PocketNow obtained a couple of leaked photographs of a Samsung device that is apparently the SCH-i405. For the Korean based manufacturer, it will be its first Android flavored device with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard for Verizon, and has a resemblance to the Samsung Epic 4G that currently resides at Sprint.

The SCH-i405 model number puts the handset right after the Samsung Continuum which means that the specs, when released, probably won't blow your mind. The phone did receive Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification but has yet to meet the august members of the FCC. That gives us about 6-8 weeks before a possible launch on Verizon. Of course, most of the carrier's customers have their heart and mind set on a different Samsung model, the Galaxy S II, so don't be too surprised if no one is jumping up and down about this leak.
