MetroPCS announced today its subscriber results for 2009, saying that it has added 1,272,691 new customers for the year, out of which 313,255 were added in the final quarter, giving them 6.6 million total customers (a 2% growth). Compare this to 2008, where the company added 1,404,047 new customers, of which 519,519 were added in Q4. Churn for Q4 2009 was also 5.3%, compared to 5.1% in Q4 2008.
