Misfit's new Vapor X smartwatch powered by Wear OS goes official
It looks like Misfit has dropped the numbering of their new smartwatches and adopted a more non-traditional naming scheme. The sequel to the Vapor 2 is called Vapor X and it's now available for purchase for a limited-time introductory price of just $200.

However, after the promotion ends, the Misfit Vapor X will sell for $280, which makes it $20 more expensive than the previous Vapor 2 model. According to Misfit, the Vapor X is the company's lightest and most efficient smartwatch powered by Wear OS. The wearable device weighs just 43g, while it's 42mm case is made of lightweight aluminum alloy.

Specs-wise, the smartwatch sports a 1.19-inch AMOLED display and packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 processor, coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. Misfit claims that the Vapor X should provide a full day of battery power, which is rather standard for brand new smartwatches, so there's really nothing unusual here.

Furthermore, Misfit's Vapor X features built-in GPS, as well as support for NFC (Near Field Communication) and Google Pay. The smartwatch is waterproof up to 30 meters deep and includes a heart rate sensor. Of course, the Vapor X is compatible with both iPhone and Android phones.
