Nexus 6 first (very short) unboxing surfaces

The Nexus 6 is real: Google has indeed unveiled a new Nexus phablet with a very large, 5.9” display, and the release happened quietly via a press release, and no big events.

The Nexus 6 specs look top notch: a 5.9” Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 805 system chip, 32GB of internal storage at start, and a 13-megapixel OIS camera, but so is its price. The new Nexus costs $649 off contract, the same as most other flagships.

Why we saw those specs and the official images, we are yet to see the device in action. This first unboxing of the Nexus 6 is not exactly that, but it does show a very quick view of the retail box and the device in it.
