Official Sprint video showcases Galaxy Nexus with Google Wallet

Sprint took to YouTube yesterday to upload a video entitled “Galaxy Nexus by Samsung from Sprint featuring Google Wallet.” The video explains the basics of NFC, Android beam, and mobile payments with Google Wallet.

While it is a great primer for those new to the concept of NFC, what we are all excited about is that it features the Samsung GALAXY Nexus on Sprint. The device will support the carrier’s upcoming 4G LTE network and obviously, unlike the Verizon launch of the GALAXY Nexus, will come with Google Wallet right out of the box.

Sprint did not confirm any specific dates or timeframes, but many are assuming and hoping that with this kind of marketing material being released, a launch may be right around the corner.
