Pathfinder Adventures is getting its biggest update since launch: Rise of the Goblins

Pathfinder Adventure, one of the best RPG card games available on mobiles (you can read our review here), is about to receive a major update very soon. Developer Obsidian announced it's working for quite some time to bring Rise of the Goblins to Android and iOS devices.

Rise of the Goblins is a new campaign that has the same events as the initial Rise of the Runelords campaign has, except that it is played from the point of view of the goblins. In order for that to work, the developers have introduced two new goblin characters: Ranzak and Poog.

Because you'll want a party of more than two characters, Obsidian included all 11 iconic characters in goblin form. Each of these “goblin-fied” characters come with a new power.

Apparently, the first adventure pack for Rise of the Goblin will feature five scenarios that start in Standpoint. Also, a new set of goblin themed dice has been added so that you can play in-character much easier.

The folks at Obsidian haven't yet announced a release date for Rise of the Goblin, but they confirmed the new content would be coming very soon and it will be free to play.
