Samsung Galaxy Note passes FCC certification with AT&T bands
Has the Samsung Galaxy Note captured your mind and imagination with its gigantic 5.3-inch display and S Pen? Good news for you then - the Galaxy Note has just passed FCC certification, so it’s one step closer to getting released on... AT&T stateside. The Note was approved with GSM 850/1900MHz and WCDMA II and IV bands support - an exact match for AT&T’s 2G and 3G frequencies in the US. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the carrier will indeed offer the handset, but now its US launch is a real possibility.

The Samsung Galaxy Note features a huge 5.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. You can use it not only for traditional finger input, but also with the built-in S Pen for drawing, sketching your thoughts or just to highlight something.

Under the hood, the Note is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. You can store your data on the 16GB of internal memory. It also features an 8-megapixel camera capable of capturing 1080p footage and an additional 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
