Samsung Galaxy Tab could be heading to AT&T as well, boasting dual-band Wi-Fi
Samsung's tablet is seemingly going to appear on AT&T as well, in addition to its Verizon stint. The Hummingbird-powered Galaxy Tab has appeared in the FCC's "RF Exposure Info" tests sporting the 1900MHz AT&T frequency. Apart from having a GSM version, one more trick up its sleeve was discovered.

Coded as "SHW-M180S", the Froyo tablet is harboring a nifty feature that allows expanded wireless range and speeds, and better building penetration. The FCC documents reveal that the Galaxy Tab is blessed with dual-band Wi-Fi, and can operate on both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz a/b/g/n standards. Couple this with a suitable router and you can be surfing with speeds up to 150MB in no time, even if the router is a few thick walls away.
