Samsung already looking for ways to improve Galaxy Note 9's S Pen advanced features

It's been less than two months since the Galaxy Note 8 made its debut on the market, but Samsung has already started working on the next Note model. This is quite unusual since the South Korean company takes a small break after each major project such as the launch of a new Note series phablet.

BJ Kang, Samsung Electronics' Global Planning Group, Mobile Communications Business, confirmed recently that is company has decided to start working on the next Note model with taking any breaks, even though the Galaxy Note 8 product planning was quite challenging.

According to Kang, Samsung's engineers are now considering how to refine and add more S Pen advanced features. Moreover, the South Korean company is looking for ways to improve other business and consumer-oriented features specific to the Note lineup.

Samsung's official promises “to keep users' needs” as a major priority when tackling such an important project like the Galaxy Note 9, and will innovate accordingly.

Even though Samsung is now in full product planning process, it's too early to report on any of the Galaxy Note 9's features. Still, we reckon that the S Pen remains one of the main aspects that sets the Note series apart from Samsung's other top-tier lineup, the Galaxy S, which is why the company will continue to improve these features in the years to come.
