Sprint sends out update for EVO 4G; possible Wi-Fi and battery fixes included
The other day, we reported that Sprint was planning a maintenance update for the EVO 4G for today. And sure enough, owners of the handset this morning are being greeted with an OTA update which allows version 1.47.651.1 to be installed. At 21.43MB, we are probably looking at some small bug fixes, minor to be sure, but hopefully it will contain the necessary improvements to improve the phone's battery life and  repair the Wi-Fi reception issues. You can't tell the players without a scorecard and without a list of changes, you can't be sure exactly what the pin-dropping network is up to. If you are an EVO 4G user, drop us a comment if you notice anything different about your handset after downloading the upgrade.
