The long wait is almost over, because the GSM version of the popular Palm Pre is finally coming to Europe . It will first become available to consumers across the UK, on 13 October and the Spanish carrier Telefonica has scheduled the market launch of the webOS device for the next day, so we wonder if the Palm Pixi will join the Pre on his European adventure soon.
High-quality pictures of the GSM version of Palm Pixi have made it to the Internet and they clearly reveal the handset sports 4GB built-in memory instead of 8GB as promised, although we still don´t know if that´s going to be the case with the final, retail units. Moreover, nothing that relates to a possible release date has been mentioned and that´s something we are keenly interested in, having seen recent information that the device is not coming to the US on 20 October as expected.
