EXCELLENT!

Phone owned for less than 3 months

I've only had this phone a couple of months, and I was skeptical of it at first because it's a budget oriented phone. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy S10+, I am pleasantly surprised with the A16 5G. It's actually fairly snappy. I haven't had any significant slow downs with it. I put my 1TB Micro SD card in it filled with FLAC files, downloaded my favorite audio playing app which is Poweramp, everything works great! All my LDAC earbuds and headphones work with this phone, my earbuds and headphones which use a dongle work great, the OTG functions work great. Calls are crystal clear, texting, 5G/4G signal, WiFi, all of that works great. The camera is actually pretty fantastic. With the right apps and mods, it becomes even better. You can record at 4K quality with Open Camera. There are all kinds of tweaks and mods you can do to this phone to make it decently on par with a flagship Samsung phone. 25 watt fast charging is great. No wireless charging, but you can buy cases etc, which can add wireless charging. Seriously, this phone was only $100 and it's pretty dang great. It has exceeded all of my expectations so far, and I would consider myself an Android power user, I know a thing or two. The Exynos 1330 processor/chipset in this thing is actually pretty snappy. On par with a Snapdragon 855. The model I have, only has 4GB of RAM, and an 8GB swap file you can't get rid of, even if you turn RAM+ completely off, however, Android has pretty great memory management, and this phone has been solid for only having 4GB of physical RAM. The screen is beautiful, it's 90hz, super smooth. No 3.5mm headphone jack, that's okay, I have a few USB-C DAC's which have 3.5mm output. You honestly can't beat this phone for the price. I want a phone that is quick, plays my FLAC files, and does what a phone should do. This phone does that, and more. Mad props to Samsung for making such a great budget device.

YOUR NOT JUST BUYING A PHONE!

Phone owned for less than a month

I really regret not looking at reviews when buying this phone. Not only does it take forever to charge, I had to buy a new charger and new headphones due to the changes they made! Stores had run out of A15s, so I paid over $100 more for this ($399). I was upgrading from my OPPO phone which I now regret as the oppo a54 was a far superior phone apart from the camera.
