Huawei fights back against ZTE's charges of patent infringement
ZTE is claiming that Huawei infringed on a pair of its patents related to smartphone cameras. Earlier today, ZTE's Weibo page divulged how the manufacturer plans on suing Huawei for using this unlicensed technology. The handsets carrying the patents are apparently the Huawei Honor X2 and the recently unveiled Huawei P8 flagship model.

Huawei has responded to ZTE's charges by saying that the Slow Shutter and Capture, one of the two patents that ZTE is suing over, is a standard technique used in photography and is achieved by different manufacturers using different technological methods. Huawei also claims that the technology used on the Honor X2 and P8 is home grown and patents are being applied for.

Huawei says that it has "consistently advocated the protection of intellectual property." Hopefully the disagreement between the two China based handset manufacturers can be resolved before it hits a courtroom.
